By Way Of Introduction

Loneliness is often the worst plague of depression. It is so easy to feel alone; to feel like no one cares, no one understand. Believe me, I know what it's like; I have been there many times. It is a dark and frightening place to be, and a broken, empty thing to feel.
That is the heart behind this blog. I want to share my brokenness with you; not to add weight to your burden, but to remind you that you are not alone in your struggle. I want to be your friend. It is my hope that, Lord willing, my broken words and mixed-up emotions can somehow bless you through simply being genuinely raw.
We have all been broken - in hundreds of ways, and for hundreds of reasons. But if you are reading this right now, that means there is hope. And hope is a dearly precious thing in such a desperate, fallen world.

I chose the title Beloved so that every time you, or I, or anyone who stumbles across this webpage, will remember that we are beautifully created and dearly loved.

God bless you, weary fighter. Stay strong.
